SmartCharge is the most user friendly battery charger in the world. When we developed the DEFA SmartCharge, we wanted to make it safe and easy to recharge the battery. It recognizes the type of battery you connect it to, and it adjusts the charging process to suit the battery’s charge status, size and ambient temperature conditions, with only one button – ON or OFF.

PowerSupply
Every so often you need access to continuous current, for instance when changing the car battery. PowerSupply is what you need when you do not want to disconnect power and reset all settings in the car, or if you only want to use a 12V unit such as a cooling box. SmartCharge has this function which you can easily activate by holding down the ON button for 5 seconds. The charger will automatically produce 13,6V. This is indicated when all 5 LED segments are illuminated.
Compact
SmartCharge is an elegant and practical little charger with an integrated solution for storing cables. Wind the cables around the charger, attach underneath and click the parts in place.
Multifunctional
SmartCharge can be fitted with separate accessories to make battery charging even easier.
Just one button; ON/OFF
Attach the clamps to the battery terminals, insert the plug into the socket and press the ON button. The SmartCharge will take care of the rest! The display will indicate when the job is done.
User-friendly display
SmartCharge has a user-friendly display with backlight for legibility. One can easily read the status of the battery. It is also possible to select a higher charging current when recommended on batteries.
